Situation & Rationale:

The current African social entrepreneurship market is growing rapidly but it is still fragmented and opaque.

Complication: Players active in the African social entrepreneurship space cannot find, learn and collaborate with each other. There are information asymmetries in the market.

Solution:  It is proposed to develop an online ?living? platform for members ? by members.

This website platform will encourage the following:

Provide an online ?market place? for different African and International actors (entrepreneurs, private sector, legal actors, investors, civil societies, NGOs, etc.) active in the African social entrepreneurship space.

Allow players to have an ongoing online discussion about issues they are facing, e.g. themes, exchange of best-practice, business support, access to funding, policy developments, etc.

Allow players can upload their organizational profile, their asks and gets

Allow resource providers to upload their service offerings

Target Areas of Focus:

- water, energy, democracy, food, agriculture, education, health
